Easy and delicious home made caramel candies that are buttery and melt in your mouth.
Ingredients:
1 cup and 1 tablespoon brown sugar
1-1/3 cups and 1 tablespoon
white sugar
3/4 cup and 1 tablespoon and
1 teaspoon butter
3/4 cup and 1 tablespoon and
1 teaspoon corn syrup
1 cup and 1 tablespoon heavy cream
1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons
whole milk
1-3/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions:
Combine brown sugar, white sugar, butter, corn syrup, cream, milk and vanilla in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Heat to 250 to 265 degrees F (121 to 129 degrees C), or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a rigid ball. Pour into an 8×8 inch pan. Let cool before cutting.
