The USDA says it’s getting rid of the food pyramid. Instead, it will be replaced with a dinner plate that will be sliced like a pie chart.
The new design will be separated to show the recommended amount of different food groups that should be eaten every day. Everyone has mixed views on this new chart. Some claim it is more confusing and does not educate people on what is bad for you. The real crime here is that people can no longer tell what is good and bad for them???
Doctors say anything that will get Americans to eat more fruits and vegetables should be considered successful.
