Every year on this day we are forced to remember to honor our mothers. Really we should be doing that everyday, not just on a holiday. No person is perfect, but my mother is in so many ways. She is one of the only people on this earth to truly love me for me even with all my faults. She is there for me when I need her. My mom is perhaps the most caring person I have ever known. Often she takes better care of others than herself. Even when she was having a tough time in her life, she put that aside and made sure the family came first. I would like to think that now as an adult and mom I can be what she needs….a friend at times to listen. We are best friends and I just hope that I help her as much as she helps me.
