So this year I decided to have a small holiday party to flex my culinary muscle and cook for the people I work with. I am excited, it is a bit of work, but not too much as long as you mise en place. Below is my menu:
Pear Martini, Santa’s Red Hat & Wine Selections
Almond Crusted Gouda Delights
Gouda Cheese crusted with Almonds
Basil Tortellini
Tortellini in a light tomato, basil sauce
Pesto Scallops
Scallops in an herb pesto sauce
Beef & Chicken Skewers
Beef & Chicken skewers in a ginger apricot glaze
Endive Wedges
Tender endive wedges with a sweet dressing, topped with Bleu cheese
Holiday Chocolate Truffles
I will be having a soloist also at the house to play the smooth sounds fo Christmas! It is shaping up to be a great party! I will report back with pictures of the food and how it all went! Wish me luck.
