Homemade Chili

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 pound ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 can pinto beans
2 tablespoons chili powder
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1 green bell pepper, diced
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons chile powder
2 anahime chilis, diced
1 jalenpeno pepper, diced and seeded, reserve ½ seeds for chili.
tabasco to taste

Directions:

In a large skillet saute beef, onions, peppers in oil. to a large soup pot combine sauteed ingredients, crushed tomatoes, beans. season with chili powder, salt and pepper, cayenne pepper. Stir in beans, crushed tomatoes, chili powder, and vinegar. salt and pepper to taste. heat to boiling, and reduce heat. cover, and simmer 30 minutes.
